Ordering Samples

You may request samples of cards. Terms are as follows:

Samples of certain cards are available only.
Since some cards are made to order, samples of those cards cannot be provided.
Samples requested for will cost Rs. 15/- each.
Samples can be sent only within India and will be dispatched only after the D.D. is received.
Please provide all the necessary information like Name, address, contact no. and also the wedding date and other information at the time of requesting for samples.

Samples will be sent via regular post and will reach in postal time.

Points to remember while ordering

After deciding on your invitations – the style, colour, type of printing, and the invitation wordings tell us the number of cards you will require. While deciding on the number of invitees (number of invitations) consider at least 25-35 cards extra. This is in case you miss out somebody (something that inevitably happens), you won’t need to reprint cards at the last minute which will cost you extra per card, may consume time, and requires a minimum order of 50 cards.

When submitting your order, type or write out clearly the wording exactly as you want it to appear, including spacing, capital letters and punctuation. You will receive a final proof before we print your cards. Please carefully check the spelling etc, to avoid problems later.

We normally take a week to execute your order, though we can accommodate you on an urgent basis too. Ordering your invitation at least 2 months in advance should give you sufficient time to address and assemble them.

Before posting the cards, take a fully assembled sample to the Post Office and have it weighed one last time to confirm how much postage each one requires.

Ordering cards

It is best to order the cards 2-3 months in advance or if your wedding is less than the 3 months period then the moment you have got the important information i.e. dates, ceremony place reception venue etc.

By ordering the cards in this time frame gives you and also us to comfortably execute the order, thought cards can be made on a urgent basis but it’s best to avoid the wedding rush and also have your cards in time so that you can have enough time to address them and also post or hand deliver them.

After deciding Please give the following information
1. Card code no. (if ordering over the net)
2. The quantity (specify if you need separate invitations for the brides and grooms side)
3. While deciding the quantity keep in mind extra cards. These may be due to last minute invitees and also errors that may have been made while writing addressing.
4. It is cheaper to add at least 25 cards at the time of ordering as the minimum reprint is a minimum 50 cards and will be more expensive and the printing time is the same.
5. The matter/invitation neatly typed or written will insure accuracy in yr order.
6. If you are ordering over the counter then you can either handwrite or provide the matter on floppy make sure that you have checked the names and surnames and also checked that the dates correspond to the days and reconfirm all this information at the time of proof reading.
7. You can select your own wedding invitation or you may choose from the formats that are available.
8. Please make sure that the matter is thoroughly checked for errors
9. Verify unusual spelling at the time of writing/typing.
10. Indicate the style of writing/font to be used.
11. Mention the choice of colour to be used gold/silver etc.
12. All wedding cards come with regular envelopes if you need to print them then it will cost extra.
13. At the time of ordering over the counter a minimum 50% advance will have to be paid. And the balance is on delivery for orders over the net full payments will have to be made before the cards can be ordered and processed.

How to order

1) Fill in all the details clearly.
2) The matter given for printing should be neatly typed or handwritten.
3) Check all the Names, Addresses and Timings thoroughly. Please verify all while proof reading.
4) All invitation cards come with blank envelopes. If printing on the envelopes is needed, the cost will be additional.
5) At the time of ordering, 50% advance is to be paid. The balance will be paid against delivery.
6) If you have a particular font/script/style of writing, kindly let us know. If not, the best possible font will be used.
7) Choose the color for the matter to be printed in, e.g.: gold, silver, red, etc. We can also print in the color of your choice. (In this case, same color shade will not match, some variation will occur.)
8) Add a minimum of 25 extra cards while ordering. This will take care of last minute invites and also errors. After ordering, the minimum reprint is 50 cards. Printing charges and time taken for printing, will remain the same as for 100, so make sure that while ordering you have considered extra.
9) Please retain your order form till the time of delivery. Quote your Order Number, while making any inquiries.
10) Proofing of the actual card can be made on request and will be at an additional cost.

Proofing

1. The proof that is shown is as per the matter provided by you
2. The same layout/font and matter is as it will appear on the card
3. At this time go over the matter thoroughly and re confirm the names addresses and also the dates this is the time corrections can be made. Any changes can be incorporated at this time and a new proof will be shown for you to approve.
4. All proof are shown on paper print in black orders over the internet, proofs are shown in jepg format.
5. While passing the proof the final quantity can be reconfirmed
6. After the proof is passed no changes is possible and the matter approved as per the final proof is considered approved for printing.
7. No changes are made over the telephone and all errors can be rectified at the time of proof checking if you so desire a actual card can also be made but this will be at a additional cost.

Dispatching / Delivery of Cards

1. After the proof is checked most cards are deliverd in a weeks time, certain cards do take extra time and this will be informed at the time of proof checking .
2. For orders placed over the counter please reconfirm the delivery before collecting the cards from the shop.
3. For orders over the net all cards are shipped to you by speed post. And the delivery is in postal time after the cards get ready so please allow at least a week plus 3-4 shipping days.
