AVOIDING LAST MINUTE DISAPPOINTMENTS
How to avoid bridal attire disappointments
Pay as small a deposit as possible.
Include a cancellation provision, specifying that the deposit will be refunded if the clothing does not arrive on the desired date in good condition.
Choose a delivery date that is several weeks before you actually need the wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses.
If the attire you order is not provided on time and as ordered, consider taking the business to small claims to recover any money paid. (Is this possible in our context?)
How to avoid music disappointment
Be sure your contract lists the date and site of the reception time. The band should arrive with music the band will play, style of music to be played and the appropriate attire for musicians. Specify the type of music that you would like to play at the wedding. Maker sure the list of songs ha s been given in advance to the DJ. If he is providing you with the same then make sure you have heard the songs because there may be another version . Make sure the necessary licences are with him to play music; i f not the music can be stopped by the police. Make sure he is familiar with the location so that the right equipment is used and the music is not to o loud or soft.
