Terms & Conditions
Last updated: [01-01-2026]
These Terms govern your use of www.davidcompany.com (“Website”) and any purchases made through it. By accessing the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1) About us
“David & Company”, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to David & Company, an India-based business offering wedding invitations, religious stationery and related products (“Products”) through this Website.
2) Use of the Website
You agree not to misuse the Website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may refuse service, suspend accounts, or cancel orders where we reasonably believe misuse or fraud has occurred.
3) Accounts, passwords and security
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
4) Orders and custom printing
Most Products sold by David & Company are custom printed/personalised based on the information you provide (names, dates, wording, layouts, colours, inserts, etc.).
By placing an order, you confirm:
-
the information provided is accurate, and
-
you understand custom printing involves a proofing and approval process.
5) Proofs, approvals and changes
We will share a digital proof (PDF) for your review and approval prior to printing where applicable.
Your responsibility: Carefully check spelling, names, dates, addresses, and layout before approving.
Once you approve the final proof:
-
printing begins, and
-
changes may not be possible.
Additional fees may apply for:
-
requesting more than one colour variation as PDF proof(s), and/or
-
changing to a different design after a proof has been created for your selected design.
6) Colour, finish and printing variation
-
Colours on screen may differ from the final printed product due to differences in monitors and printing processes.
-
As stationery is printed digitally, subtle variations between pieces can occur.
-
Different stocks (e.g., satin vs shimmer/felt) may display ink differently, which can change the appearance of colour and finish.
These are normal characteristics of the printing process and are not considered defects.
7) Samples
If you are unsure about paper, colour, or finish, we recommend purchasing a sample prior to placing a full order.
Sample availability and pricing may vary by design.
Because each order is printed separately, we cannot guarantee exact colour matches between samples, swatches, and your final printed order.
If we supply samples in colours different from the website display, this is to demonstrate available options. To order a different colourway, you must select/request the custom colour option at the time of order.
8) Errors and reprints
If an error occurs due to our mistake after you have approved the final proof, we will reprint the affected items.
If errors are present in the final proof and you approve it, any reprint required due to incorrect customer-provided information (spelling, names, dates, addresses, etc.) will be chargeable.
9) Pricing and payment
Prices are displayed on the Website or shared via quotation where applicable.
All orders must be prepaid. We do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD).
10) Shipping and delivery
We deliver across India using appointed courier partners.
International shipping is not available.
Dispatch timelines may vary based on customisation, proof approvals, and seasonal demand. Urgent or special deliveries may be possible at an additional cost (subject to feasibility).
11) Cancellations and refunds
Because our Products are custom printed:
-
If you cancel before approving the final proof (PDF), a ₹1,000 cancellation charge applies.
-
Once the final proof is approved, no cancellations and no refunds are permitted.
12) Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, David & Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the Website or delays caused by events outside our control (courier delays, weather, strikes, etc.). Our maximum liability for any order will not exceed the amount paid for that order.
13) Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
